Loft Collection

Every plank here is European Oak in Character grade, 3/4 inch thick, in random lengths listed at 1900 mm. Character grade keeps the knots, grain swirls and colour changes of the oak, which suits relaxed family spaces and hides everyday wear from kids and pets.

The range splits by width and wear layer. Ten colours come as 6 1/2 inch planks at 20.24 sq ft per carton. The other 25 are 7 1/2 inch planks at 19.42 sq ft per carton, offered with a 2 mm, 3 mm or 4 mm oak wear layer. A thicker wear layer generally allows more sanding over the life of the floor, so the 4 mm boards make sense in a home you plan to stay in. Several shades, including Driftwood, Cloud, Silver Grey, Bourbon, Cappuccino and Pewter, are sold in more than one wear layer.

In total there are 35 colours, including Slate, English Grey, Hazelnut, Havana and Mocha. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Loft Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
