Premium Vinyl Tile by Canaan Woods
Canaan Woods makes this line as a tile rather than a plank: 24" x 12" pieces, 6.5 mm thick, laid out in a tile pattern with no grout to seal or scrub. The top is a 20 mil textured wear layer with a UV coating, and the tiles are waterproof.
They click together with a 5G lock and float over the subfloor, a quick, no-glue option for bathrooms, entryways, kitchens and basement rec rooms. Water on the surface is not a worry, but the subfloor still needs to be flat so the joints stay tight and the tiles do not rock. A box covers 24.1 sq ft at 45 lbs, and the maker lists a 30 year guarantee.
The five styles are T 01, T 02, T 03, T 04 and T 06. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Premium Vinyl Tile across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
