Vanntett Pro by Canadian Standard
This line uses a 7" x 48" plank, 5.2 mm thick, with an IXPE backing on the underside. IXPE is a dense foam that softens footsteps and cuts down hollow sound, so the floor feels quieter in condos, upstairs bedrooms and anywhere people below might hear you.
The surface has an embossed-in-register (EIR) texture that lines up with the printed pattern, a matte gloss level and micro bevelled edges. It is approved for installation on, above or below grade, which means basements are covered. The spec sheet lists a click locking system with a click and glue installation method, and accessories are available. Each box holds 10 planks and covers 23.65 sq ft.
