Maestro

Maestro is a substantial 18 mm plank topped with a 3 mm dry solid sawn European white oak veneer. Sawn veneer is cut the way solid lumber is, so the grain looks much like a solid hardwood board. Widths are 7.48 inches (190 mm), the core is eucalyptus, and every plank has tongue and groove joints and four micro-bevelled edges.

All colours are lightly wire-brushed and sealed with a matte UV-cured urethane. Simone, Mitchell, Lennox and Joplin also have a smoked finish. Grading is Classic, and Maestro is rated for residential use. The extra thickness gives a solid, quiet feel underfoot, and a thicker veneer leaves more wood to work with if the floor is ever sanded and refinished.

The 12 colours are Streisand, Simone, Parton, Mitchell, Mercury, Lennox, Labelle, Joplin, Hendrix, Dylan, Cohen and Carpenter. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Maestro across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
