Oak

Red oak is the species in this small Green Touch line, a familiar wood with an open grain that takes stain well. Four colours are available, each a 5" wide click board at 1/2" with random lengths reaching 47".

Golden and Gunstock have a smooth surface. Black Stone and Silver Grey are wire brushed instead, which is the better call for a dog or a busy entry because the texture disguises light scratches. The click joint lets the floor float, which goes down quickly in condos and bedroom renovations, and gluing it to the subfloor is also an option if you want a more solid feel. They share a matte finish and micro-bevelled edges, and Green Touch backs them with a limited lifetime structural and residential finish warranty.

22FLOORING supplies and installs Green Touch Oak across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
