Hard Maple

Green Touch offers its hard maple in two builds, and the right one depends on your subfloor and how you want it installed. The click version is 5" wide and 1/2" thick in random lengths up to 47". It can float or be glued down, a practical route for condos and renovations where nailing is not an option.

The tongue and groove version is wider at 7 1/4", 3/4" thick and up to 60" long. It is nailed or glued down, so it suits main floors and upper storeys with a wood subfloor. Most of those wide boards have a handscraped surface, which helps hide dents and pet scratches on a hard, dense species. Across both builds you get a matte finish, micro-bevelled edges and a limited lifetime structural and residential finish warranty.

The 5" click colours are Natural, Earth, Cappuccino, Pigeon and Limestone. The 7 1/4" colours are Natural, Mirage Gray, Glacier Gray, Castle, Saturn and Cloud Grey. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Hard Maple across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
