Essex Collection

Essex is the slimmest of the Impressive Floors click lines at 5.5 mm, and it uses an attached EVA underlayment rather than IXPE. Its sound ratings are STC 63 and IIC 62, which is quieter than a bare plank, though the thicker IXPE-backed lines score higher if your condo board has strict noise rules.

Each plank measures 7" by 60", with a wood grain surface, UV cured acrylic finish and a 4-sided painted designer bevel. Installation uses an engineered locking system, and the floor floats with the pad already in place. You can put Essex on a top floor, main floor or in a basement, and it is listed for residential and commercial use. Residential warranty is Lifetime, commercial is 15 Years. For bedrooms, family rooms and rental units, it covers the basics well.

Colours are Berry, Boardwalk, Delight, Eden, Poppy, Seawater, Squash and Umber. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Essex Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
