Journey

Journey is a 9 mm vinyl plank with an embossed-in-register surface, which means the texture follows the printed grain instead of running as a general pattern across the board. Up close, that reads more like real wood than the standard embossing on Purelux's Dynamic and ProLine lines.

Sizing is 1545 × 183 × 9 mm, with a 2 mm IXPE underlayment attached and sound ratings of IIC 72 and STC 73. The wear layer is a little heavier than the one on Dynamic and ProLine, a plus in hallways and family rooms that see pets and kids every day. Edges carry a painted bevel. Installation is click-together on a 5G drop lock, floating with no glue or separate pad. Each box holds 17.96 sq ft. Journey is FloorScore certified, and its limited warranty covers 30 years for residential use and 8 years for commercial use.

The ten colours are Aria, Bellagio, Delano, Hansel, Ines, Mirage, Palace, Palms, Westgate and Wynn. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Journey across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
