Proline 9

ProLine 9 is the thick option among Purelux's SPC planks: 9 mm, with a heavier 2 mm IXPE underlayment bonded to the back. The added thickness and cushion give a firmer, quieter feel underfoot, which homeowners notice most over concrete in basements and on main floors with a lot of foot traffic.

Planks come in at 1545 × 182 × 9 mm. Protection comes from a 20 mil wear layer, with an embossed surface and painted bevelled edges. Water will not hurt the rigid composite core, and its IIC 72 impact and STC 73 airborne ratings make it sensible for condos. It installs as a floating floor on the 5Gi drop-lock joint. One thing to plan for: each box covers only 12.11 sq ft, so you will need more boxes per room than with most Purelux lines. Certification is FloorScore, and the warranty runs 30 years residential and 8 years commercial, limited.

There are five designs, sold under LVT model numbers rather than colour names. 22FLOORING supplies and installs ProLine 9 across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
