European Oak – 6.5 inch

The narrower of the two Origins European oak lines, this collection uses a 6-1/2" board that is 3/4" thick, in random lengths from 16" to 75". A narrower plank reads a little more traditional and fits well in smaller bedrooms, hallways and older Toronto homes where very wide boards can crowd the space.

The surface is wirebrushed with a matte sheen and micro-bevelled edges. That texture keeps light scratches from pets and chair legs from standing out, and matte finishes show less dust than glossy ones. Boards have a tongue and groove edge and are installed by nailing or gluing, depending on what the subfloor is made of. They can go on, above or below grade, so a basement is on the list. Order by the box, at 19.4 sq ft each; trims and other accessories are made to custom order.
