Berkeley Collection by Richmond Flooring
For a cleaner, more even oak floor, Berkeley is graded Select & Better (AB). That grade keeps knots and strong colour swings to a minimum, so a room looks calm and consistent. It is a good fit for modern living rooms, condos and bedrooms.
Boards are 1/2" thick and 7.5" wide, with random lengths from 16" to 75". Under the aluminum oxide urethane surface is a multi-layer ply core, and a micro bevel runs around all four sides. Tongue and groove joints mean the floor can be nailed, stapled, glued or floated depending on your subfloor. Berkeley can also go over radiant heat, provided the installation instructions are followed. The warranty is 25 years for residential use and 5 years for light commercial.
Cartons hold 31.09 sq ft, 45 to a pallet. The seven colours are Oak Alabaster, Oak Java, Oak Brownstone, Oak Nightingale, Oak Heartland, Oak Rockport and Oak Shorline. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Berkeley Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
