About the collection
Summit Collection by Richmond Flooring
Summit is the Richmond line with a low gloss UV finish and a full four-sided bevel rather than a micro bevel, so board edges look more defined and the sheen stays soft. It is 3/4" thick and 6" wide, in random lengths from 16" to 75".
Nine of the colours are white oak and two are birch. The Select/ABC grade keeps the look fairly clean while allowing some natural marks. A multi-ply core sits under the wood face, and the tongue and groove boards can be floated, glued or stapled. Summit can go over radiant heat when installed to the instructions, and it has a 25 year residential, 5 year light commercial warranty. A 6" plank is a middle ground that works from bedrooms to open main floors, and a low sheen shows dust and footprints less than a shiny finish. Cartons cover 18.65 sq ft, and a pallet holds 48.
The white oaks are Lancaster, Whitney, Dunkirk, Troubadour, Dunhill, Natural, New Castle, Calais and Aruba, and the birches are Terrebonne and Natural. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Summit Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
