Arctik

Arctik is an SPC click plank from Goodfellow Flooring, 5 mm thick including a 1 mm EVA pad that comes attached. The stone plastic composite core is rigid and waterproof, so a spill in the kitchen or damp air in a basement will not swell it, and the pad softens the hollow sound of footsteps. The wear layer is 12 mil, fine for bedrooms, home offices and other moderate-traffic rooms. For large dogs or a busy mudroom, pick a line with a thicker wear layer.

Each 6" x 48" plank has an embossed-in-register texture that lines up with the grain, finished with painted bevels. Installation uses a floating drop-lock system, so the boards click together over the subfloor on any level of the house without glue or a separate underlay. A box covers 23.94 sq ft.

There are eight colours: Alta, Bergen, Flora, Halden, Natural Maple, Natural Oak, Odda and Stavern. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Arctik across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
