CushionTech

Comfort underfoot is the point of CushionTech. Goodfellow Flooring builds this Comfort Core vinyl plank in layers: a 0.7 mm vinyl layer, a 1 mm IXPE cushion layer and a 1 mm EVA pad attached underneath, for a total of 7.7 mm. The extra cushioning is kind to anyone who stands for long stretches, as in a kitchen, and it helps in upstairs rooms and condos where footstep noise carries.

At 60" long, the 7.09" wide planks mean fewer end joints across a room. The surface is embossed in register, so the texture follows the wood grain, and the edges have painted bevels. A 20 mil wear layer gives good protection against kids, pets and chair legs. The planks click together with the Uniclic system and float over the subfloor on any level. A box covers 17.71 sq ft.

The eight colours are Augusta, Chambers Bay, Fallen Oak, Harbourn Town, Kings Barn, Miss Maple, Pebble Beach and Spyglass. 22FLOORING supplies and installs CushionTech across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
