Atlantic

Atlantic is a slim SPC vinyl plank from Grandeur Flooring, 5.0 mm thick in total. The build is a 4.0 mm stone-plastic composite core with a 1.0 mm EVA pad, topped with a 0.3 mm (12 mil) wear layer. Planks measure 7" x 48".

A thinner plank has its uses. It keeps height changes small at doorways and next to existing floors, which helps in condos and renovations where trims and door clearances are tight. The core is still rigid and waterproof, and the drop-lock joint lets it float over the subfloor on, above or below grade, basements included. The 12 mil surface suits bedrooms, home offices and rentals better than a busy entry with large dogs. Grandeur lists a 15 year residential and 10 year commercial limited warranty.

There are four shades, shown on the site by product number rather than name: a beige, a brown with reddish tones, a taupe mixed with black and brown, and a plain brown. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Atlantic across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
