Sydney

Sydney is the herringbone series from Home’s Pro, made in rigid SPC vinyl. The pieces are short, 5.91" x 29.53", and set in a zigzag pattern that works well in entries, dining rooms and open living spaces where a plain plank would look flat.

Each piece is 6.0 mm thick with a 1.5 mm cork underlayment, a 0.5 mm wear layer and an embossed-in-register surface, and the painted bevel on the edges makes the pattern read clearly. A Unilin click joint holds everything together as a floating floor. Sound ratings are STC 74 and IIC 73, and the cork adds some warmth. The core is waterproof, with a rated temperature range of -20 °C to +60 °C. Herringbone takes longer to lay out and cut than straight planks, so allow extra time and a little more waste. A box holds 16 pieces and covers 19.38 sq ft.
