Milan

Milan is a slim floating SPC plank from Home’s Pro, 5.5 mm thick including a 1 mm IXPE underlayment. A slim plank keeps floor height down, which helps where the new floor meets tile, a stair nosing or a door that is hard to trim.

The planks measure 7.16" x 48.03" with micro-bevelled edges and a 12 mil wear layer, fine for bedrooms, home offices and living areas with normal family traffic. They use a Välinge angle/angle lock, meaning each plank is tilted into place on both its long and short sides. Milan is rated STC 65 and IIC 66 and tolerates temperatures from -20 °C to +60 °C, so an unheated cottage or sunroom is not a problem. The SPC core is waterproof, which also makes it a fit for basements and kitchens. Each box holds 10 planks, or 23.90 sq ft.

Colours are Bergamo, Crema, Sirmione, Gromo and Bellagio. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Milan across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
