Wide planks set the tone for Wenge (AR1302) from the GreenTouch North American Oak collection. Each board is 7" across and 3/4" thick, and lengths run up to 84", which covers a large room with fewer seams and fewer end joints to look at. The oak is wire brushed so the grain is easy to feel, and it is finished matte rather than glossy. A micro bevel runs along the edges. Installation is nail down or glue down over a prepared subfloor, with tongue and groove joints holding neighbouring boards in line, so this is a fixed floor rather than a floating one.
