Classical Elegance

Classical Elegance leans on strong colour variation and a fumed finish for a floor with plenty of character. Five colours are oak, all fumed: Symphony, Rubato, Rhapsody, Prelude and Baroque. The sixth, Opera, is walnut without fuming, and it is the one to pick if you want a darker species in this style.

The planks measure 7 1/2" wide and 9/16" thick, with random lengths up to 75". Under the 3mm dry sawn wood face is an engineered 3-layer solidcore. Surfaces are wirebrushed with micro-bevelled edges and a low-lustre UV cured polyurethane containing aluminum oxide. The varied look is forgiving in family rooms and entryways, where dust and small marks show less than on a plain floor.

Installers can staple, glue down or float these boards, and they are suitable on, above or below grade. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Classical Elegance across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
