Expressions

Expressions keeps things simple: every colour shares one build, with no fumed or mixed-species options. The boards are oak, 7 1/2" wide and 9/16" thick, pairing a 3mm dry sawn oak face with an engineered 3-layer solidcore, and random lengths up to 75".

The surface is lightly wirebrushed, enough to add texture to the grain without the rough feel of a handscraped floor. Micro-bevelled edges, moderate colour variation and a low-lustre UV-cured polyurethane with aluminum oxide round it out. That middle-ground look works in bedrooms, dining rooms and open main floors, and it will not fight with bold furniture or rugs.

There are six colours: Whimsy, Visage, Repose, Felicity, Exuberant and Demeanor. Expressions goes down by staple, glue or floating installation, and it is listed for on, above or below grade, so any level from basement to upper floor works. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Expressions across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
