Chatter Oak 00295 By Shaw Floors

Chatter Oak (00295) is a floating SPC floor from the Floorté Pro line, built 4.4 mm thick in a 7 inch by 48 inch plank with square edges, so the seams sit flat against each other. The EVA pad on the back takes the place of a separate underlay and quiets the step. Its 6 mil wear layer is modest, which points this floor toward bedrooms and low-traffic rooms rather than an entryway. The stone-composite core is still waterproof and cleared for above, on and below grade, so a basement guest room is a sensible fit. Each carton covers 27.73 sq ft, and the planks are made in Vietnam. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Chatter Oak across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
