Dark Elm 00915 By Shaw Floors

Dark Elm (00915) names its own shade, and the build behind it is SPC: a rigid, stone-composite core that is waterproof and stays put when the humidity changes. Shaw Floors makes the plank 4.4 mm thick in a 7 inch by 48 inch size for the Floorté Pro collection, with micro bevelled edges. On top there is a 20 mil wear layer under an ArmourBead finish, enough protection for a main floor that takes shoes, chairs and pets. This is a floating installation, so a flat subfloor matters more than adhesive does, and the floor is rated above, on and below grade.Each carton works out to 27.73 sq ft, and it can go down on any level, including below grade. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Dark Elm across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
