Hearst (02012) from Shaw Floors' Gramercy Park style, SA491, is radiant heat compatible, which is useful if you are adding heated floors to a kitchen, ensuite or basement. The engineered construction (1/2″ thick, with a 1.2 mm oak veneer) is approved for above, on and below grade. Planks run 15.75″ to 70.87″ in length at a 5″ width, edges micro bevelled. The face is wirebrushed, and a UV aluminum oxide finish at 7% gloss keeps it low in sheen. High colour variation gives the floor plenty of movement from plank to plank. Nail, staple, glue and floating are all approved installation methods.
