The Valinge 5G drop lock on Karuka, style 6037, is a floating system: planks drop into place with no nails and no adhesive, which keeps the install quick and makes a damaged board easier to swap out later. Karuka is engineered luxury vinyl from HydraLuxe's Expedition collection, 8.5 mm thick, 225 mm wide and 1830 mm long, with a wood design and medium embossed texture. The 5 mm core mixes vinyl with calcium carbonate and sits over 1.5 mm of cork backing; the wear layer is 0.55 mm. It is certified FloorScore, E1 and BLC and made without phthalates.
