Pavestone (05258) gives you a choice at installation time. Floating keeps the planks free of the subfloor, which suits most rooms; direct glue fixes them down, which calls for a smooth, level base that we check first. Either way, you get an 8 mm WPC board from Shaw's Floorté Classic line with an EVA pad as its underlayment. The wear layer is 20 mil under an ArmourBead finish, and the pressed bevel edges frame each 7 inch by 48 inch plank. Grade approval covers above, on and below, so it works for basements as well as upper floors. Pavestone is made in Thailand and sold at 18.81 sq ft per carton. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Pavestone across Toronto and the GTA, with floating installation from $3.20 per square foot, or glue-down from $5.50 per square foot including glue.
