Warm Sand 05254 By Shaw Floors

Warm Sand (05254) is a WPC plank from the Floorté Classic collection by Shaw Floors. WPC stands for wood-plastic composite, and that core has a little more cushion than a hard stone-based board, which you notice in a kitchen where you stand for long stretches. Planks measure 7 inches wide and 60 inches long at 7 mm thick, and a 20 mil wear layer takes the everyday traffic from kids and pets. Lacquered bevels run along the edges. It goes in as a floating floor, resting over the subfloor with no nails or glue. The above, on and below grade rating opens up basements, and each carton covers 23.69 sq ft. The planks are made in Vietnam. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Warm Sand across Toronto and the GTA, with vinyl installation from $3.20 per square foot.
