Canvas Collection by Pravada Floors
Most of the Canvas line is 8.5 inches wide, with Eiffel the one exception at 9.5 inches (240 mm). All nine colours are European white oak, 9/16 inch (14 mm) thick, in random lengths running from 24 to 87 inches.
A 3 mm veneer covers a 7 to 9 ply core, and the boards lock together with precision tongue and groove. Grading is ABCD with high board variation, so natural knots and shifts in tone are part of the floor. Surfaces are wire brushed and smoked, edges microbevelled, and the look is matte. Finishes differ by colour: UV lacquer, UV oil with matte lacquer, or hardwax oil with matte lacquer on Palette. Oiled floors are easier to touch up in one spot, while lacquer asks for less routine care. Canvas is approved for radiant heat and goes down by staple, glue or floating. Boxes cover 31.26 sq ft, or 34.10 sq ft for Eiffel.
The nine colours are Palette, Nouveau, Monogram, Genre, Easel, Collage, Aura, Atelier and Eiffel. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Canvas across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
