Haute Couleur Collection

Haute Couleur offers eight European white oak colours: Organza, Motif, Brulé, Mode Noir, Avant-Garde, Nude Roche, Chiffon Drape and Chateau Blanc. Every one is cut as a 1/2 x 7.5 inch plank (12 x 190 mm) in random lengths from 24 to 74 inches, a comfortable width for most rooms in a house or condo.

The wear surface is a 2 mm sliced veneer, bonded to a core of 7 to 9 plies and milled with precision tongue and groove. Planks are wire brushed and smoked with microbevelled edges, and they are graded ABCD with high board variation, so plenty of natural character comes through. The line is listed as CARB2 compliant, a formaldehyde emissions standard worth knowing about if indoor air quality is a concern at home.

Haute Couleur is approved for radiant heat, and installers can staple, glue or float it depending on the subfloor. Most colours pack 31.09 sq ft to a box, and Chiffon Drape and Chateau Blanc are also offered in a 34.36 sq ft box. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Haute Couleur across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
