Le Rêve Collection

Le Rêve uses a fixed board length. Every European white oak plank is 9/16 x 7.5 x 36 inches (14 x 190 x 950 mm), with no random lengths mixed in. Short, even boards create a regular, repeating layout, and they are easier to carry up tight stairs and into condo elevators.

A 3 mm oak veneer is laid over a 7 to 9 ply base, and the boards are milled with precision tongue and groove. All five colours are wire brushed and smoked, finished in UV matte lacquer, and microbevelled along the edges. Grading is ABCD with high board variation, so knots and grain changes are expected rather than defects. Hardness comes in at 1360 on the Janka scale, and the planks are approved for radiant heat. They can be stapled, glued or floated. A box covers 15.54 sq ft, so plan on more boxes per room than with longer planks.

The colours are Calin, Lueur, Ambiance, Aurore and Beauté. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Le Rêve across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
