Férme Chic Collection

Férme Chic gives you five smoked, wire-brushed oak colours: Forge, Suede, Crate, Clay and Aged Leather. Each European white oak plank measures 1/2 x 7.5 inches (12 x 190 mm), and lengths are random from 24 to 74 inches. The width works as well in a bedroom as it does across an open main floor.

Construction starts with a 7 to 9 ply core and precision tongue and groove, topped by a sliced 2 mm oak veneer. Grading is ABCD with high variation between boards, so knots and colour shifts show through. That lively grain is forgiving with kids, dogs and grit tracked in from outside. UV lacquer is used on all five, along with microbevelled edges and a matte gloss of 5% to 15%. Janka ratings are 1360, with Clay listed at 1460.

You can have these planks stapled, glued or floated, and radiant heat is approved. Boxes hold 31.09 sq ft. 22FLOORING supplies and installs Férme Chic across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
