Artistique Collection

Artistique pairs a wide European white oak plank, 9.5 inches (240 mm) across, with a 3 mm veneer and a 9/16 inch (14 mm) overall thickness. Boards come in random lengths from 24 to 87 inches, so long runs show fewer end joints, which suits open living and dining areas. Underneath, the core runs 7 to 9 plies, milled with precision tongue and groove. The ABCD grade and high board variation mean you should expect knots and colour movement from plank to plank.

Wire brushing and smoking give every colour its texture and tone, and the edges are microbevelled under a matte sheen of 5% to 15%. Depending on the colour, the finish is UV oil, UV lacquer, or UV oil with matte lacquer. Janka hardness is listed at 1360 to 1450. The planks are approved over radiant heat and can be stapled, glued or floated, so a plywood subfloor or a concrete slab both work. A box covers 34.10 to 39.27 sq ft.
