Le Soleil Collection

Le Soleil puts four European white oak colours on a broad 9.5-inch (240 mm) plank: Louvre, Provence, Mont Blanc and Fleur. Boards are 9/16 inch (14 mm) thick and random in length from 24 to 87 inches, which keeps end joints spread out in large, open rooms.

Provence, Mont Blanc and Fleur carry a sliced 2 mm veneer, while Louvre has a 3 mm veneer. Beneath the veneer is a 7 to 9 ply core joined by precision tongue and groove. On all four the surface is wire brushed and smoked, edges are microbevelled, and the ABCD grade with high variation gives a relaxed, lived-in floor that does not show every mark. The line is CARB2 compliant and approved for radiant heat.

For installation, these boards can be stapled, glued or floated, so a wood subfloor or a concrete slab can both take them.
