American Black Walnut 7 Collection

Along with Provence and Natural, this walnut line adds a darker Chocolate colour. The planks measure 7 inches (194 mm) by 18 mm, a middle width that sits comfortably in most rooms, from bedrooms to an open kitchen and dining area.

Under the finish is a 3 mm dry sawn American Black Walnut layer on an engineered multi-layer core, a build that copes with dry winter air and humid summers better than solid wood. Grades are Select and Select and Better, for a cleaner board with limited knots. The coating is an ultra matte BONA UV lacquer, edges get a micro bevel, and the surface can be smooth or wire brushed. Random lengths from 15.75 inches keep the joints spread out. A box covers 23.93 sq ft, and hydronic radiant heat below the floor is compatible.

22FLOORING supplies and installs American Black Walnut 7 Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
