American Oak 9 Collection

Among the widest of Vidar's American White Oak planks, this line is 9 inches (230 mm) wide and 19 mm thick. Its top layer is dry sawn oak, 3 mm or 4 mm depending on the product, laid over an engineered multi-layer core that keeps a board this broad flat and stable.

Wide oak shows long, uninterrupted grain, which suits large living rooms and open main floors. Lengths are random, from 23.6 inches up to 82.6 or 94.5 inches, so the longer boards mean fewer end joints down a hallway. The surface is wire brushed and finished with an ultra matte BONA UV lacquer and micro bevel, which helps hide the fine scratches a dog leaves. Grades include Character, Select and Select and Better, the planks work over hydronic radiant heat, and a box covers 20.30 sq ft.

Colours are Wheat Berry, Silver Stone, Sandy Grey, Naked Oak, Macaroon and Daisy. 22FLOORING supplies and installs American Oak 9 Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
