Biyork's engineered hardwood on our site is the Nouveau range: 79 products across six collections, all character grade with a wirebrushed surface, and some hickory styles also offered handscraped. Widths run from 5" to 8-1/2" and thicknesses from 1/2" to 3/4", in European oak, hickory and one walnut.

Nouveau 6 has 24 styles at 6-1/2" wide and 3/4" thick, and Nouveau 6 CLIC offers 6 colours at that width in a 1/2" click board. Nouveau 7 has 12 oak and hickory colours at 7-1/2". Nouveau 7 Prelude keeps that width in 10 oak colours but only 1/2" thick, handy where floor height is tight. Nouveau 7 Bespoke has 16 products, each colour in 5" herringbone and 7-1/2" plank with a 4mm veneer. Nouveau 8 has 11 oak colours at 8-1/2" wide and up to 86" long, suited to big open rooms.

Every Biyork product here can go on, above or below grade and lists a 30-year residential warranty and FloorScore certification. Frequently asked questions

How much does Biyork flooring cost installed in Toronto?
Engineered hardwood is from $4.90 nailed or glued, including the glue and the nails, or $3.20 where it clicks and floats. Click vinyl is from $3.20 per square foot and glue-down from $5.50 with the glue included. Taking up your old floor is included, the floor itself is priced on top, and the figure is fixed in writing after a free in-home measure. Herringbone and chevron are quoted per job.

Can Biyork engineered hardwood be refinished?
It depends on the wear layer. A thicker veneer has enough wood above the tongue to take a sanding later; a thin one often has none. We read the spec sheet before telling you either way.

Can I see Biyork samples before I decide?
We bring samples to the free in-home measure so you see the boards in your own light, not under showroom lighting.

Do you install Biyork outside Toronto?
Yes. We work across Toronto and the GTA, and our installers travel as far as Wasaga Beach, Niagara Falls and Castleton.
