European White Ash 6 Collection

Ash rather than oak is the species here: European White Ash, which has a strong, open grain pattern. The planks are 6 inches (152 mm) wide and 3/4 inch (18 mm) thick, topped with a 2 mm dry sawn ash veneer on an engineered multi-layer core.

A 6 inch ash floor fits well in bedrooms, home offices and smaller condos. Boards come in random lengths between 23.6 and 75.2 inches, giving an irregular joint pattern across the room. Only Select and Select and Better grades are offered, so the look stays fairly clean. Vidar wire brushes the ash, then finishes it in BONA UV lacquer at an ultra matte sheen, and the edges carry a micro bevel. The planks are hydronic radiant heat compatible, and one box covers 19.04 sq ft.

Colours are Whistler, Toffee Crunch, Sandy, Natural, Macaroon, Landmark, Frost White and Day Break. 22FLOORING supplies and installs European White Ash 6 Collection across Toronto and the GTA, with engineered hardwood installation from $4.90 per square foot, including glue and nails.
